Trong buổi làm việc, Đại diện IPD đã chia sẻ với Đoàn đại biểu những điểm sáng về thu hút đầu tư tại KCN Cầu Cảng Phước Đông (IMG Phước Đông), điểm qua những nét nổi bật về tình hình hoạt động kinh doanh của các Doanh nghiệp đang hoạt động tại KCN và những hạng mục trọng điểm sẽ được IPD tập trung đầu tư trong năm 2024. Đoàn đại biểu HĐND Tỉnh Long An đánh giá cao sự đầu tư và đóng góp tích cực vào sự phát triển kinh tế - xã hội tại Cần Đước của IMG Phước Đông, mong rằng trong những năm tiếp theo IPD sẽ tiếp tục dành nguồn lực để đầu tư vào KCN, ưu tiên tuyển dụng và đào tạo lao động có tay nghề tại địa phương, đưa IMG Phước Đông trở thành KCN kiểu mẫu và hiện đại đầu tiên tại Cần Được, đóng góp vào sự phát triển chung của Tình Long An.

Khu Công nghiệp Cầu cảng Phước Đông (IMG Phước Đông) có quy mô: 128,8 ha. Hệ thống giao thông chính 4 làn xe rộng 22m, hệ thống giao thông nội bộ 2 làn xe rộng 14m, vỉa hè, cây xanh nội khu. IMG Phước Đông cung cấp các dịch vụ nhà xưởng và đất công nghiệp đa dạng, bao gồm: nhà xưởng xây sẵn, nhà xưởng xây dựng theo yêu cầu, kho bãi, đất công nghiệp. IMG Phước Đông tọa lạc tại vị trí thuận tiện cho cả giao thông đường bộ và đường thủy. Về đường bộ, tuyến đường Tỉnh 826B kết nối trực tiếp KCN với Quốc lộ 50 tạo hành lang thông suốt từ TP.HCM với các tỉnh Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long, từ trung tâm TP.HCM đến IMG Phước Đông chỉ mất chưa đầy 1 giờ di chuyển. Về đường thủy, khu vực này có chiều dài hơn 3 km giáp sông Vàm Cỏ, quy hoạch Cầu cảng hiện đại có thể tiếp nhận tàu trọng tải lên đến 20.000 DWT. Đây là cảng trung chuyển đến các vùng kinh tế năng động và quốc tế phía Tây.

For the first time in Vietnam, an international design competition for a multi-storey factory complex has been organized at Phuoc Dong Industrial Park & Port, opening a new approach to industrial park development – where architecture, operations, and investment efficiency converge.
On the morning of April 29, at Phuoc Dong Industrial Park & Port (Tay Ninh), IMG Phuoc Dong Joint Stock Company, in coordination with local authorities, held the groundbreaking ceremony for a multi-storey factory cluster, a 110kV power system, and the commencement of the worker and expert housing project. With a total investment exceeding VND 3,623 billion, the project is expected to provide a strong impetus for green and sustainable industrial development in the region.
