GROUND-BREAKING CEREMONY FOR THE PRESTRESSED CONCRETE SHEET PILE CONSTRUCTION PACKAGE (SECTION B8–C2) – A MILESTONE IN INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT AT PHUOC DONG PORT INDUSTRIAL PARK

This event marks an important milestone in the development of seaport and inland waterway infrastructure, moving toward the goal of building a green – modern – sustainable industrial park.

A Key Component for Port and Industrial Growth

The B8–C2 sheet pile construction package is one of the core components of the Phuoc Dong Port Industrial Park, playing a crucial role in shoreline protection, technical infrastructure reinforcement, and expansion of inland port operations capacity.

This construction is considered a strategic foundation for developing the seaport and inland waterway transport systems of the entire complex, paving the way for an integrated logistics chain connecting the port – industrial park – and import-export centers.

Parallel Construction Efforts

Alongside the B8–C2 package, IMG Phuoc Dong is accelerating several modern factory projects, notably:

• Factory B7 – designed to green, clean, and eco-friendly standards, suitable for light industries and high-tech manufacturing.

• High-rise Factory A2 – targeting international clients with stringent requirements for safety, energy efficiency, and technical precision.

These projects reflect IMG Phuoc Dong’s strategic vision to build a smart, multi-level, sustainable industrial park ready to welcome high-quality FDI investors.

At the ceremony, Mr. Phan Trung – Deputy General Director of Operations at IMG Phuoc Dong – stated:

“The prestressed concrete sheet pile construction (Section B8–C2) aims to enhance the overall infrastructure of the industrial park while promoting seaport and inland trade activities, creating a foundation for Phuoc Dong Port Industrial Park’s breakthrough in the coming phase.”

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Lai Minh Tam – Head of Project Operations Department, representatives from consulting, supervision, and design units, as well as the construction contractor’s engineers and workers, all demonstrating professionalism, cooperation, and commitment.

Song Ngoc Mechanical Construction Co., Ltd., the project’s main contractor, is a leading company in marine construction, equipped with modern machinery, skilled personnel, and strong financial capacity.

Previously, Song Ngoc had successfully completed Phase 1 of the embankment project, affirming its outstanding construction capability, and once again earned the investor’s trust for larger-scale contracts.
