Huawei and IMG Expand Multisector Cooperation Negotiations

IMG WELCOMES THE CEO OF SOUTHEAST ASIA REGION AND GENERAL DIRECTOR OF HUAWEI VIETNAM FOR AN OFFICIAL VISIT AND WORKING SESSION AT THE HEAD OFFICE

On the morning of July 15, 2025, IMG Phuoc Dong JSC had the honor of welcoming the senior leadership delegation from Huawei Group for an official visit and working session at its head office. Leading the delegation were Mr. Jason Wu – CEO of Huawei Digital Power for the Southeast Asia region, and Mr. Richard Liu – General Director of Huawei Vietnam, accompanied by senior managers and solution experts from Huawei Vietnam.

The working session was attended by Mr. Le Tu Minh – Chairman of IMG Group, along with senior executives from IMG Phuoc Dong.

Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on potential multisector cooperation, especially in key projects at the Phuoc Dong Port Industrial Park and Inland Container Depot (ICD), including:

• High-rise warehouses and manufacturing facilities,

• Solar power systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS),

• Digitalization solutions in industrial production.

The two sides engaged in extensive discussions on strategic cooperation orientations in the fields of industry and energy.

In addition, IMG and Huawei also discussed an upcoming visit to the Huawei Research & Innovation Center in Shanghai, China. The trip is expected to offer IMG’s leadership the opportunity to engage directly with Huawei’s top executive board and affiliated companies, paving the way for strategic collaboration in manufacturing, technology, and clean energy.

The working session took place in an open and sincere atmosphere, reflecting both parties’ strong goodwill in expanding international cooperation and fully unlocking the development potential of the Phuoc Dong Industrial Park.
